The Bay Radio did a wonderful commentry on the Olympic Torch in the South of the County. Darren Milby and Dave Salmon in particular kept those who couldn't attend well informed.. especially due to the adverse weather conditions AND I don't think they expected to have to RUN from the Grasmere open topped bus when it stopped at Greenbank Road, Ambleside all the way to the Lake at Waterhead to catch MV Tern..the STEAMER-that everyone called a Ferry all day
